Description:?The “driving licence” of powerboating. This course provides all of the skills and knowledge required by anyone taking charge of a powerboat.
Content:?Boat preparation, launch & recovery, low & high speed manoeuvres, anchoring & docking, basic navigation, weather & coastal knowledge, safety.
Options:?Planing / Displacement. Fixed Drive / Outdrive / Outboard / Water jet. Console Control / Tiller Control.
Ability After Course:?You will be competent to take charge of an open powerboat by day on inland and coastal waters with which you are familiar.
Duration: 2 Days
Minimum Age: 18
Instructor Qualification Required: Powerboat Instructor
