PIETA HOUSE SOUTH EAST will be based in Waterford City

PIETA HOUSE SOUTH EAST will be based in Waterford City Pieta House South East will be located at Waterside in Waterford City in the coming Months. The journey that started over 3 Years ago by members of the public and business people in the South East is nearing completion. A team of professionals took on the task of finding a location for Pieat House South East and they have worked very very hard over the past 15 months to find a suitable location. Massive work has been done byBookaroom Waterford, Purcell Properties, Sunlife FinancialWaterford,James Renolds Architectural & Planning Consultants, Frank Grogan Quantity Surveyor and Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm in securing the premises. Since the start of Darkness into Light in Dungarvan in 2013 and Waterford City in 2014 the wheels have been in motion to bring PIETA HOUSE SOUTH EAST to Waterford City for people in need of Crisis intervention in relation to suicide and self-harm taking in Waterford, Ireland KILKENNYVisit Wexford Clonmel Carlow, Ireland Newross just to name a few. We can not forget the hard work that the committees from Darkness into Light do and a massive THANK YOU to you all ….. And the Biggest THANK YOU is to the Local people all over Ireland for donation to Pieta House no matter how big or how small. Waterford Marine Search and Rescue is delighted to be part of this success Waterford, Ireland smile emoticon Joan Freeman: Founder and former CEO Pieta House Our flagship fundraiser, the phenomenon that is Darkness Into Light, an event that is almost entirely organised by our amazing volunteers continues to go from strength to strength on May 7th it will celebrate its eighth birthday. It’s no coincidence that this unique event takes place just as we’re coming into summer and our spirits are being lifted. Well over a quarter of a million have woken in the small hours of the morning and taken part in Darkness Into Light to date, and this year it will touch the lives of thousands upon thousands in 100 plus venues across Ireland and internationally. One of our goals is to have a centre within 100km of every person in Ireland and we’re well on our way to achieving this. To help bring us closer to this important goal we have identified three areas most in need of our service -namely, the north west, the south east and the midlands Pieta House is coming to the South East.
