Mission Statement

The overall objective of Waterford Marine Search and Rescue is to provide and organise search, rescue and recovery on lakes, rivers and tributaries in Waterford City and County 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year.

To advance through training and education, the level of skill necessary to carry out Search, Rescue and Recovery operations and to co-ordinate with other rescue organisations and reduce the loss of life through suicide prevention.
